The Library and the Magic Books

By Michael (Fifth Grade)

In the library, there were two kids – they were brother and sister, and they were looking for a book. While they were looking, the sister found a glowing book, and she told her brother to come look. When they opened it, they saw that it was magical; they knew because when they touched it their hair had changed colors. When the brother noticed this surprised. So they wanted to see how many more magical books they could find in the library. They looked and looked, and they found one! The next one they found, when they touched it, they saw that it made them fly, and they were so happy they went on looking for one more, and when they found it, the book granted them one wish; they decided to keep it to give to their parents. When they told their parents, they were happy and proud. They went home with the books and had a great day. The end.

The Restaurant

By Autumn (Fourth Grade)

One rainy night, a family of four was so hungry that they went to a restaurant. When they got there, they all ordered burgers. The waiter said that there was no more food left. The whole family was shocked. Everyone was going crazy at the restaurant called Blackstones. The family tried to leave, but the door was locked! Two hours later, the people were forced to eat leftover bread, and they still could not leave! Two days later, the police, fire department, and ambulance
came to rescue the people from the evil restaurant people who made them eat old bread for 2 days – and they still never got the burgers. The End.
