Volunteer Tree Planting in Pierce Park

This Saturday, April 11, 2026, 10 am-1:30pm
Please help us plant 175 trees at Pierce Park!
Meet at Pierce Park, 2302 Brookside, in the pavilion parking lot.

Volunteers needed to plant native trees, assemble tree tubes and install tree tubes.

Please bring gloves and wear boots or waterproof shoes.

We’ll be working in the reforestation zone along the railroad tracks and the eastern edge of the park.
These native trees have a big job to do!

They will absorb extra rainfall.

They will block the sight and noise of traffic.
-
They will clean the air.
-
They will bring us cooling shade in the summer and radiant color in the fall.

And they will support native wildlife.
Come on out with us to whisper sweet nothings to the youthful trees as we plant them and change the world together!
