Splendors of South Asia at the FIA

Presented by the Flint Institute of Arts Museum + Art School and Diamond Sponsors Avinash & Hema Rachmale, Splendors of South Asia: A Night of Culture & Celebration invites guests to experience an unforgettable evening inspired by the rich artistic traditions, cultures, and flavors of South Asia.
This vibrant strolling reception will feature exceptional cuisine, themed entertainment, live performances, music, and immersive cultural experiences designed to engage the senses and celebrate the diversity and beauty of South Asian art. Guests will explore thoughtfully curated moments that reflect the region’s deep cultural history and contemporary influence.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available for businesses and individuals interested in supporting this unique community celebration. Proceeds from the event support FIA education programs and help expand the museum’s South Asian art collection, ensuring these important artistic traditions continue to be represented and shared with audiences throughout the region.
Cocktail or party attire is recommended, and guests are encouraged to wear traditional South Asian attire in celebration of the evening’s theme. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the Kearsley Street entrance.
