Sipi Workshop
February 11 @ 10:00 am
Upcoming SIPI Workshops: Built by Community, for our Community
Based on feedback from our recent community survey, we are excited to kick of this year’s workshop series designed to strengthen partnerships, sharpen funding skills, and grow meaningful connections across Flint’s nonprofit and small business ecosystem. All workshops are offered hybrid (in-person + virtual) and will be recorded for participants who can’t attend live.
These sessions reflect what you asked for: practical tools, shared learning, and space to connect. We can’t wait to learn and build alongside you.
February 4th: Partnering with Purpose
Strong partnerships don’t happen by accident, they’re built with clarity and intention. This workshop walks participants through how to structure effective partnerships using clear roles, expectations, and tools like MOUs and MOAs. Whether you’re entering a new collaboration or strengthening an existing one, this session offers practical guidance to help partnerships stay aligned, accountable, and mutually beneficial.
February 11th: Grant Writing & Reporting
This workshop focuses on both sides of the grant process, writing competitive proposals and managing reporting once funding is secured. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to structure strong grant narratives, align budgets and outcomes, and stay organized with reporting requirements. Ideal for organizations looking to strengthen their funding readiness and reduce stress around compliance.
February 26th: Social Capital & Emerging Leaders Networking Gathering
This in-person gathering is designed to create space for connection, relationship-building, and peer learning across Flint’s emerging leaders. Rather than a traditional workshop, this event centers social capital bringing emerging leaders together to share experiences, build trust, and explore ongoing ways to stay connected and supported beyond a single event.
Thanks to the generosity of Ruth Mott Foundation, these workshops are FREE, but space is limited in-person.
