Meet the Lender Event
If you’ve never applied for a small business loan, how do you know where to start? Navigating the lender landscape can be tricky. Luckily, Meet the Lender is coming to help you learn how to finance your business dreams.
In partnership with the Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance and powered by the Michigan Economic Development Association, the Genesee Entrepreneurial Network (GEN) will host its first-ever Meet the Lender event at the University of Michigan-Flint Northbank Center (432 Saginaw St #419, Flint) on April 9 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event aims to set small businesses up for loan success through expert advice and the option to have one-on-one meetings.
This event is good for small businesses and entrepreneurs looking to strengthen their partnerships or streamline their loan applications. Participants can expect a clear, transparent loan timeline and realistic expectations for loan applications. By the end of the event, they will walk away with practical, actionable knowledge to help them submit stronger applications, reduce processing delays, and strengthen their relationships with lenders.
Some lenders in attendance at the event will include Dort Financial Credit Union, ELGA Credit Union, Huntington Bank, MSU Federal Credit Union, Michigan Good Food Fund, Michigan Woman Forward, PNC Bank, Small Business Association, and Wildfire Credit Union.
Although this event is free to the public, registration is required. Interested participants can register at developflintandgenesee.org/lender.
