Hoodies for the Homeless
Flint City Councilman Leon El-Alamin is partnering with Nick’s Customs and the M.A.D.E. Institute to distribute hoodies and other supplies to people experiencing homelessness Nov. 3.
The distribution will begin at noon, with Northside Soup Kitchen and Catholic Charities among the listed distribution locations in Flint. Organizers also plan to provide food and other supplies.
The effort’s organizers are promoting the initiative under the slogan “Hoodies for Homeless” and the message “One community, one mission.” For more information, contact Nick’s Customs at 810-620-2028 or visit its Facebook page at @Nicks customs.
