Genesee Conservation District 80th Anniversary Celebration

Genesee Conservation District invites you to attend our 80th Anniversary Celebration – an afternoon to explore, learn, and connect with nature!
- 🍃 Nature Hikes: Take a guided nature hike around McKinley Park and discover local plants, wildlife, and trees.
- 🌳 Ask An Arborist: Do you have questions about trees on your property? Come with questions for our certified arborist to learn more about tree health, identification, maintenance, pruning, and common tree concerns.
- 🐜 Invasive Species: Discover which invasive species and plants are impacting our local environment, how to identify them, and what you can do help prevent the spread.
- ✏️ Community Partners & Resources: Check out our partners’ tables! Local organizations will be sharing information, resources, programs, and services available to you.
- 🍔 Free Food: Lunch will be provided by Bella’s Food Truck courtesy of the Genesee Conservation District.
We look forward to celebrating with you at our 80th Anniversary Event at The McKinley Community Center (249 Peer Ave., Flint 48503) on Saturday, September 12th from 11am-3pm!
