Free STEAM Glazing Workshop Blends Art and Science
The Greater Flint Arts Council will host The STEAM of Glazing, a free, family-friendly workshop on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 816 S. Saginaw St. in downtown Flint.
Participants will explore creative glazing techniques while learning how science, technology, engineering, art, and math intersect through color, chemistry, and surface design. Area artisan experts will guide families through the hands-on learning experience.
The workshop is free and open to the public, but participation is limited to 20 people. Finished artwork will be fired and available for pickup at a later date. Advance registration is required.
