Fourth Annual Great Pumpkin Contest & Trunk-or-Treat
Last year’s prize-winning pumpkin weighed an impressive 1,305 pounds. This Saturday, visitors can see what growers bring to the scales at the Fourth Annual Great Pumpkin Contest & Trunk-or-Treat, held October 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Agriplex, 2232 W. Mount Morris Road, Mount Morris.
Presented by the Genesee County Agricultural Society, the event combines the excitement of giant-pumpkin competition with the Halloween tradition of trunk-or-treating. Families are encouraged to wear their costumes, enjoy treats, and see the remarkable pumpkins entered in this year’s contest.
The Great Pumpkin Contest has been sanctioned by the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth for the past three years.
Now in its fourth year, the celebration brings agriculture and community together, showcasing growers’ accomplishments while giving families and friends an opportunity to make fall memories close to home.
