Drive Electric Flint Kickoff
September 24, 2025 @ 5:30 pm
Prices of electric vehicles are anticipated drop substantially over the next few years, making them far more affordable to moderate income families soon and to low-income families within a decade. That may seem far off, but we need to start planning now to ensure that Flint isn’t left behind in building charging stations for EVs. Flint is already behind the curve compared to other major cities in Michigan. Also, GM is the largest manufacturer of electric vehicles in the U.S., and electric vehicle manufacturing offers a major opportunity to attract living wage green jobs to Flint!
The time is now to plan for this future! Join us for the Drive Electric Flint kickoff meeting on Wednesday, September 24th 5:30-7:30 pm at the Flint Public Library (with dinner provided) to mobilize for clean transportation in Flint.
