Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Event
This year, we will emphasize the vital connection between caring for ourselves and caring for our community, reflecting Dr. King’s enduring legacy of service, justice, and collective responsibility.
This year’s theme:
Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way
Through reflection, shared purpose, and community connection, this celebration reminds us that Dr. King’s mission is not only possible—it is ongoing. We are proud to welcome Carma Lewis of Flint Neighborhoods United as our keynote speaker, who will share insight, inspiration, and a powerful message rooted in community leadership and nonviolent action.
This event is open to all, and we encourage you to join us, bring others, and be part of this powerful moment of unity and reflection.
Together, let’s continue the mission.
