Color Me Confident
The YWCA of Greater Flint will host “Color Me Confident” on Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the YWCA Women’s Empowerment Center, 801 S. Saginaw Street in Flint. The free event invites girls ages 12-17 or those enrolled in Girls ASPIRE for an evening of Painting With a Twist, combining art with open conversation about body image, personal choices, and self-confidence. A meal will be provided, and space is limited to 25 participants, so early registration is required. The event is sponsored by Huntington.
