The Flint Center For Educational Excellence and Flint Community Schools will make the presentation, gather input from neighbors and take questions. About the College Cultural Neighborhood Association
The College Cultural Neighborhood Association is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization. Since 1992 we have been dedicated to preserving and improving our urban neighborhood and city. We raise awareness of governmental, social and environmental issues concerning us and other Flint neighborhoods. About 1,400 households are represented by CCNA, which includes the area I-69 to Gilkey Creek/Crapo St., to Longway to Dort Hwy.
The meeting schedule is based on a traditional school year. We meet every other month (September, November, January, March and May) the third Thursday of the month. In the warm months join us for music events at Pierce Park. Thank you to Mott Community College and the Office of Institutional Advancement and especially Dale Weighill for hosting our civic meetings, which are open to all, free of charge.
