Civic Matters: Disaster Preparedness

September 19, 2025 @ 1:00 pm
Drop in anytime 1–4 p.m. and learn more about disaster preparedness. September is Disaster Preparedness Month! Learn how we prepare for and respond to collections care emergencies, and build your own disaster preparedness kits to support your community in case of an emergency.
The enduring legacy of Charles Stewart and Ruth Mott is their extraordinary commitment to civic participation. From preserving our history to volunteering in community, we’ll demonstrate ways that anyone can engage in civic life. This year’s topics are focused on historic preservation and getting involved in the community where you live.
Drop in to Civic Matters anytime from 1–4 p.m. on the third Friday of the month through October. Admission and activities at Applewood are always free!
