America 250: Veterans Legacy Gala
November 7 @ 5:00 pm
As the United States of America celebrated its 250th birthday this year, we want to acknowledge the heroes from all generations who took an oath to protect our freedoms.
The America 250: Veterans Legacy Gala will be an evening dedicated to reflection, gratitude, and support for veterans from all generations. This event is open to the public and will include dinner, door prizes, a DJ, awards, and entertainment by The Soggy Bottom Big Band. Guest speaker for this event will be Flint native Major General Jason Kelly, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit Sacred Heart Veteran Village, a comprehensive transitional veteran housing program run by Catholic Charities Shiawassee and Genesee Counties. Tickets are $75 for civilians, $50 for veterans.
