African American Film Series: Holding Us All

November 12 @ 5:30 pm
Join Communities First, Inc. and the Flint Institute of Arts as we kick off the 12th Annual African American Film Series with a special screening of Holding Us All on Thursday, November 12, 2026.
Holding Us All is a powerful documentary that shines a light on the often-unseen realities of caregiving and the emotional, physical, and financial impact it has on individuals, families, and communities. Through personal stories, the film explores themes of love, sacrifice, resilience, grief, and healing while recognizing the essential role caregivers play in our society.
Following the screening, guests are invited to participate in an engaging panel discussion that will explore the film’s themes, spark meaningful conversations, and highlight the importance of supporting those who care for others.
