My Dream Lucky Charm

By Robbie McCullough (age 10)

My name is Robbie, and I have a good luck charm who just happens to be Irish, and his name is Z. My friend Z is Irish small and has red hair. He keeps me company while I’m at school and sometimes keeps me out of trouble. We like to do a lot of the same things.

That’s why he’s my friend, because he likes what I like- having a friend like that is always fun. What also makes him fun and a good friend is the time he has to play with me. I tell him I’m lucky to have a friend who can make me laugh, likes what I like, and has time to play with me. He brings me good luck. He doesn’t know it, but he does, so thanks, Z, for being my good luck charm!

If I Found a Pot of Gold

By JaNiyah Glover (age 9)

If I found a pot of gold, I would buy an island and go shopping. I would first go tell my twin brother that I found it and then give him some so he can get him some stuff too.

After I give him some, I will then go to the mall and get myself a Gucci outfit, a lot of cute clothes, and all my favorite foods. I would then go buy myself an airplane, and I would move to an island and buy myself a mansion and live there by myself with all my gold. And then I would go swimming when I wanted and do whatever I wanted on my island.

If I Found a Pot of Gold

By Aaliyah Chapman (age 5)

If I found a pot of gold, I would buy my mommy a new house. I would also buy us a lot of ice cream, and we would eat ice cream and watch movies every day. I would also share some with my family and maybe my brother.
