DESCRIPTION:Windiate Park Clean Up \n Memorial Day weekend 2026 \n\n\n️  We are reaching out to ask for your support for a community cleanup taking place at Windiate Park off Saginaw and Poe in Flint over Memorial Day weekend.\n\n\nThis is a combined effort with Kew’s Korner and local residents. We will be going door to door with flyers\, speaking directly with neighbors\, and gathering residents who want to volunteer and be part of this work. We look forward to canvassing the neighborhood and welcoming the community. Look for us with flyers soon!\n\n\n The cleanup will take place over two days during Memorial Day weekend:\nSaturday\, 10 – 2 (lunch provided) \nSunday\, 12 -5 with a following cookout at Kew’s Korner.  \n\n\nWe are asking for a  25.00  donation to help provide supplies\, lunch for volunteers on Saturday along with community sports equipment. Your name and flyer will go on our list of sponsorship! Kews Kew’s Korner Pub has sponsored hot dogs and hamburgers for the cookout on Sunday.\n\n\nLook for our sign up sheet for sides and desserts soon inside Kew’s.    \n\n\nDonations can be sent here:\nhttps://cash.app/$PeoplePoweredFlint\n\n\n  If we are able to secure the support of a NON PROFIT SPONSOR \, we do have partnering orgs. who will help make contributions towards the clean up and community donations.
