SUMMARY:5K on the Runway
DESCRIPTION:Pick up your race bib OR spectator pass at one of our packet pickups Friday\, 10/03 or Saturday\, 10/04.\n*IMPORTANT: Online registration closes on Wednesday\, October 1st at 6:00pm due to airport security reasons. There is no late or race-day registration available!\nIn order to make things easier on race morning\, we will have all participants enter and exit the airport using an MTA shuttle that will be stationed at the Genesee Career Institute. This is where all event parking will be. Here’s how it will work:\n\nParticipants can pick up their race bib on Friday\, 10/03 (12PM-6PM\, at the Genesee Career Institute ) or Saturday morning\, 10/04. Packet pickup on race morning is located at Genesee Career Institute\, also.\nParticipants must present their bib\, along with a form of ID\, at the pre-shuttle airport security check. Treat the event like you’re boarding a flight:\n\nClear bags only! All other belongings must remain in your car. Gear Check is available at both Genesee Career Institute and at the start line for those who have taken a clear bag through security.\nNo weapons\, fireworks\, etc.\nWater bottles are okay as long as they are see-through.\n\n\nAfter going through security\, participants will be able to board the shuttle and will be dropped off in our pre/post-race area by the runway. The shuttle ride takes less than 5 minutes.\nAfter the race\, participants can board the shuttle to return to Genesee Career Institute to enjoy the post-race fun with cider\, donuts\, and more! Keep in mind\, there will only be water at the finish line (we are not able to have aid stations on the course\, but there will be water at the finish line). All other food will be at the post-race party at Genesee Career Institute!\n\n\nSecurity check will be open from 7:45am – 9:45am.\nShuttles will start at 8:15AM and end at 9:45AM. Shuttles will begin making return trips at 10:30AM to take participants back to the party and their vehicles.\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent schedule\n\n\nFri\, October 3\, 2025 12:00 PM – Early Packet & Spectator Pass Pick-Up at GCI Starts\nFri\, October 3\, 2025 6:00 PM – Early Packet Pick Up and Spectator Pass Pick Up at GCI Ends\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 7:45 AM – Race Day Packet & Spectator Pass Pick-Up\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 8:15 AM – Shuttles Begin To Bishop International Airport\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 9:45 AM – Race Day Packet & Spectator Pass Pick-Up Closes\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 10:00 AM – Little Pilot Kids Run\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 10:10 AM – 5K Run Start\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 10:12 AM – 5K Walk Start\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 10:30 AM – Shuttles Begin To Genesee Career Institute\n\n\nSat\, October 4\, 2025 12:00 PM – Last Shuttle Departs to Genesee Career Institute\n\n\n\n\n	Related
