DESCRIPTION:Flint Youth Runs will host its 2nd Annual Back-to-School Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway on Sunday\, Aug. 2\, 2026\, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dort Park in Flint. \nThe community event will provide free backpacks and school supplies while supplies last and will also feature an All-Star Basketball Game for incoming 6th through 8th grade students. \nFamilies can also enjoy bounce houses\, music\, food\, and other activities throughout the afternoon. \nOrganizers are currently accepting vendors\, with a $20 setup fee that will go toward purchasing school supplies for local children.
