SUMMARY:Little River Band Live at Capitol Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Little River Band was formed in Melbourne\, Australia in 1975. It was originally a blend of musicians who had enjoyed success in other Australian acts – but their new focus was to get airplay on American radio\, and they achieved that goal with good songwriting\, powerful vocals\, and guitar harmonies. They immediately claimed their place as one of the great vocal bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s. And now\, LRB celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2025\, and their calendar is filling up fast\, with 75 shows booked – including a trip to New Zealand\, where\, per capita\, the band has sold more albums and CDs than any other territory. \nBetween 1976 and 1983\, chart success in America included the following singles: It’s a Long Way There\, Help Is on Its Way\, Happy Anniversary\, Reminiscing\, Lady\, Cool Change\, Lonesome Loser\, The Night Owls\, Take It Easy On Me\, Man On Your Mind\, We Two\, and The Other Guy. Worldwide album and CD sales now top 30 million. LRB also set a Billboard record in 1982 for having Top 10 US hits for 6 consecutive years…the first band ever to achieve that mark. According to BMI\, Reminiscing has garnered rare status with over 5 million airplays on America radio…and Lady is close behind with over 4 million airplays. LRB was rightfully inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame at the 18th Annual ARIA Music Awards of 2004. \nCurrent band membership is anchored by bassist and lead singer Wayne Nelson…a 45-year LRB veteran. He is joined on stage by keyboardist and Dove Award winning producer Chris Marion\, drummer Ryan Ricks\, and guitarists Colin Whinnery and Bruce Wallace. These great musicians have writing\, touring\, and recording credits that include legendary artists like Jim Messina\, Kenny Loggins\, Glenn Frey\, Christopher Cross\, Warren Zevon\, America\, Lonestar\, Loretta Lynn\, Wynona Judd\, Sir George Martin\, David Gates\, Garth Brooks\, Oak Ridge Boys\, Steven Curtis Chapman\, Randy Houser\, Joe Diffie\, Kim Carnes\, Shane McAnally\, Dierks Bentley\, Trace Adkins\, Montgomery Gentry\, and Gretchen Wilson. \nEagles founding member\, the late Glenn Frey\, joined with LRB as a guest artist in 1988 for 2 Australian tours…culminating with a live TV performance at Expo ’88. He spoke from the heart at that last show when he dubbed Little River Band “the best singing band in the world” in front of 125\,000 concert goers. The current lineup of LRB takes that accolade to heart each and every time they perform. \nTickets starting at $73 / $54 for Genesee County residents (total price includes fees) \n\n\n	Related

What began as a passion project has grown into a globally touring concert experience that has united audiences on nearly every continent through the timeless power of MJ’s music. \nWith more than 2\,500 performances worldwide\, Who’s Bad has earned its reputation the hard way — night after night on stages across the U.S.\, Europe\, Asia\, and beyond. From sold-out runs in the United Kingdom\, including London’s O2 Arena\, to landmark tours through China\, Thailand\, Abu Dhabi\, Saudi Arabia\, Mexico\, Canada\, Germany\, and more\, the message has been universal: Michael’s music still brings people together. \nAt home in the U.S.\, Who’s Bad travels relentlessly\, packing theaters\, clubs\, festivals\, and the House of Blues nationwide. Every show is a celebration — of the songs\, the fans\, and the energy that made Michael Jackson a once-in-a-lifetime artist. \nThe show’s power lies in its details. Every groove\, every vocal inflection\, every gravity-defying dance move is studied\, respected\, and performed live by a cast of world-class musicians and dancers with backgrounds ranging from Broadway to Super Bowl halftime shows. Fronted by the velvety vocals and pinpoint choreography of Taalib York\, the band delivers a performance with soul\, precision\, and an undeniable emotional charge. \nWho’s Bad has shared stages with icons including Aretha Franklin\, The Backstreet Boys\, The Four Tops\, Boys II Men\, and Pitbull. Industry leaders have taken notice — Live Nation’s Anthony Nicolaidis calls the band “the real deal\,” while Michael Jackson’s longtime manager Frank DiLeo famously said after seeing the show\, “Michael would have been proud.” \nWhether you grew up with the Jackson 5\, fell in love to “Human Nature”\, or learned to moonwalk to “Billie Jean”\, Who’s Bad offers more than a concert — it offers connection. As the lights go down and that unmistakable silhouette appears\, audiences don’t just watch the show… they become part of it. \nThis is not nostalgia. This is not a costume act. This is a living\, breathing celebration of the King of Pop — performed with love\, integrity\, and the kind of energy that only comes from true believers. \nWho’s Bad doesn’t just perform Michael Jackson’s music. They keep it alive. \nTickets starting at $53 / $39 for Genesee County residents (total price includes fees) \n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:#IMOMSOHARD: The Crashing Out Tour
DESCRIPTION:#IMOMSOHARD began as a popular web-series by real-life best friends\, comedians and moms\, Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley. One night\, over a glass of wine and many tears of frustration\, these two friends decided to tell a different kind of story. With the help of a camera\, two husbands\, a babysitter\, and bottomless mimosas\, Kristin and Jen decided to speak openly about their fears and failures. They set out to prove that the only way to survive motherhood is through laughter and friendship. (It’s a good thing they did\, too – while shooting the first video for the series\, Jen forgot her newborn daughter’s name.) The video was a smash hit\, sparking an online community of 2 million of the most engaged followers that social media has ever seen\, which served as confirmation that moms and women everywhere needed to laugh and to be heard. \nKristin and Jen followed up with weekly videos about all things woman- and mother-related: hemorrhoids\, nipple hair\, sex after marriage\, mom bods\, Spanx\, wedding dresses\, and swimsuits. (Yes\, they wore them on camera.) Both women write and produce the #IMSH series with a common goal: to try and make you feel better about the job you’re doing if you see the terrible job we’re doing. The videos have received nearly 300 million views worldwide in just 5 years. The phenomenon that Kristin and Jen created has since been nabbed for development by Warner Brothers TV. \nThe comedians have sold-out two national tours\, written a New York Times bestselling book\, landed branded deals with Fortune 100 companies like Wal-Mart and Uni-Lever\, and taped a stand-up special for Amazon Prime Video. They have recently premiered their weekly podcast and a children’s book series with Harper Collins. Kristin and Jen are both based in Los Angeles and can often be found selling pizza slices for the PTA or working as parking enforcement at school drop-off. \nTickets starting at $53 / $39 for Genesee County residents (total price includes fees) \n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Dokken & Lynch Mob Reunion Tour
DESCRIPTION:Dokken exploded out of the heavy metal scene in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. Their debut album\, which included “Breaking the Chains” as its catchy title track\, set the stage for Dokken becoming the most dominant creative and commercial force in the world of melodic hard rock for the next several years. Albums like Tooth and Nail\, Under Lock and Key\, and Back for the Attack all became certified multi-platinum selling smashes. Songs like “Alone Again\,” “Just Got Lucky\,””Burning like a Flame\,” and “Heaven Sent” are still regarded among the genre’s finest. \nDokken has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in hard rock history\, including AC/DC\, Metallica\, Aerosmith\, Judas Priest\, Van Halen\, Kiss\, Scorpions\, as well as Bon Jovi. The band hit stadium status in 1988\, playing in front of more than 500\,000 fans in just five weeks. It seemed Dokken was on the verge of superstardom. But like so many other bands that have come before and after them\, Dokken broke up at the pinnacle of their success in 1989. \nIn 1994\, the legendary A&R man John Kalodner offered Dokken a recording contract on the condition the group had to be original members. The band released the appropriately titled “Dysfunctional” in 1995 selling 450\,000 copies\, which by the mid ’90s was considered by industry standards very respectable. But just as they were on the verge of releasing a second single\, filming a video\, starting a world tour and “taking it all the way”\, as Don Dokken puts it\, the baggage from their past reared its ugly head\, and again the group began to unravel. Soon after guitarist George Lynch left the group\, he was replaced by Reb Beach (Winger\, Whitesnake). \nIn October 2016\, the original members of Dokken reunited for a brief sold-out tour of Japan\, playing in several Arenas and co-headlining the Loud Park Festival with the Scorpions. But as Founder Don Dokken says\, “It was fun to play with the original members again\, but my current line-up of Dokken will remain so.” The band now consists of Don on vocals\, Mick Brown on drunks\, Jon Levin on guitar\, and Chris McCarvill on bass. \nThe band has survived and kept their loyal fans in a time when people’s tastes change almost hourly\, and they have been embraced by a whole new generation of rock fans. They recently played at the Bang Your Head Festival in Germany\, as well as Rambling Man in England\, where they received rave reviews. \nTickets starting at $63 / $46 for Genesee County residents (total price includes fees) \n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:That Arena Rock Show at Capitol Theatre
DESCRIPTION:That Arena Rock Show is the ultimate high-energy tribute to “classic” rock & roll\, with legendary rock anthems that ruled the airwaves in the ‘70s and ‘80s. You’ll hear songs from artists like Led Zeppelin\, Aerosmith\, AC/DC\, Bon Jovi\, and Guns N Roses – just to name a few. \nThis show will take you on a trip back in time\, turning every sized venue into an arena for a night! Get your lighters out and your fist in the air. This rock show is more than just music – it’s an experience! \nBased out of Cincinnati\, That Arena Rock Show features a crew of rock veterans based out of Ohio and Kentucky\, including TBone on lead vocals\, Nikki Starr on rhythm guitar and Steve Satriani on lead guitar. Geddy Rose plays bass and Ryan Rocket plays the drums. \n“The market for tribute bands has really picked up over the last couple of years\, and I decided I wanted to create the tribute show that I wanted to see\,” said guitarist Nikki Starr. “I wanted to see young guys playing ’70s and ’80s rock anthems\, using high energy with theatrics.” \nStarr explained that he was looking to create something that would honor the group’s musical heroes\, including Angus Young\, Eddie Van Halen\, David Lee Roth\, Freddie Mercury\, Slash\, and many more. The goal\, says Starr\, was to build a show that would transport the crowd to a place and time where troubles cease to exist while the group performed. The ultimate goal? For everyone in the venue to have as much fun as possible. \nTickets starting at $42 / $32 for Genesee County residents \n\n\n	Related
