DESCRIPTION:Join us at Tenacity Brewing on Saturday\, August 1\, 2026 as we celebrate the return of one of Flint’s favorite summer traditions after a five-year hiatus. Whether you choose a kayak\, canoe\, paddleboard\, raft\, your favorite pool float\, or build your own\, the Flint River Flotilla is your chance to experience the Flint River like never before. \nParticipants will float from the Grand Traverse Launch next to Tenacity Brewing (119 N. Grand Traverse St.\, #5620\, Flint\, MI 48503) and the Swartz Creek launch at Flint River Watershed Coalition’s office just across the bridge (630 W. Kearsley St.\, Flint Mi 48503) to Mott Park Recreation Area\, passing through Chevy Commons and the new State Park while enjoying the unique beauty\, sights\, and wildlife of the Flint River. The Flotilla is more than just a float—it’s a celebration of our community\, our waterways\, and the exciting future of the Flint River corridor. \nLaunches begin at 10:00 a.m. and are scheduled in 30-minute intervals through 11:30 a.m. Participants will receive their launch time prior to the event and should arrive 30 minutes early in order to check in at registration\, shuttle\, and inflate their floats if needed. \nAfter you exit at Mott Park Recreation Area\, hop on the complimentary shuttle back to Tenacity Brewing for the official Flotilla Fest Afterparty from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy live music\, delicious food trucks\, drinks\, awards\, and plenty of fun as we celebrate another successful day on the river. \n\n\n	Related
