DESCRIPTION:COFFEE WITH A CURATOR\nSarah Kohn\, Lecturer\nAmid the devastation of the Great Depression and Dust Bowl\, the photographers of the Farm Security Administration (FSA) set out to document the struggles of Americans across the country. At the time\, their photographs were used to encourage public support for New Deal rural rehabilitation programs. Subsequently\, the FSA produced one of the most extensive visual records of American life.
