SUMMARY:BABs Beyond the Ballot Educational Series
DESCRIPTION:Since the defeat of Andy Everman in the last election in November 2024\, Everman has continued to appear on the Mott campus\, sitting with the president before the crowd\, and being introduced by the president. Since Everman was the leader of the four board members who shoved the hiring of the president down the throats of the rest of us\, this is a suspicious relationship. Also\, since Everman is on the November 3rd ballot for a seat on the board of trustees\, it seems even more questionable.\n\n\n\nCome to our BABs sponsored BEYOND THE BALLOT educational series at the Flint Gloria Coles Library to re-visit the actions of the four vote majority led by Everman. We will meet from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on September 30th in the FPL Room on the second floor. There are serious issues between the January 2023 actions begun by Everman\, and the recently discovered expense of $40K obligated by current chair and protégé of Everman\, Jeff Swanson\, which was not approved by this board.\n\n\n\nNext\, on Saturday\, October 10th\, we will invite the candidates for the two vacant seats in this board election to the library for a Meet and Greet and a summing up of the challenge ahead for the voters and supporters of the Mott Community College. This concluding session will begin at 3:30 pm in the Harris Room on the second floor and conclude at 5:00 pm.
