DESCRIPTION:The third annual Smooth Jazz Concert Series will return to Flint’s McKinley Park this summer\, offering free live music performances on the first Sunday of each month from June through September. The series will feature the Blu Mykals Jazz Quintet performing from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the park\, located at 299 Peer Ave. Concert dates are June 7\, July 5\, Aug. 2 and Sept. 6. Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of jazz by Thread Lake. Sponsors for the event include Craig A. Johnson\, the Ruth Mott Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
