DESCRIPTION:A guided historical tour of Glenwood Cemetery will take place Sunday\, May 31\, offering visitors a chance to explore local history and legends in Flint. \nHosted by Buster Roberts of Tours With a Twist\, the “Glenwood Cemetery Tour” invites attendees to “step into the shadows of history” with stories of Flint’s founders\, early General Motors pioneers and influential families laid to rest at the site. The walking tour will also highlight historic graves\, local legends and tales of eerie folklore tied to the cemetery. \nParticipants will walk among historic monuments while learning about the people and events that shaped the city\, along with accounts of unexplained and mysterious happenings. \nThe tour begins at noon at 2500 W. Court St. Organizers encourage guests to wear comfortable walking shoes and remain respectful of the historic grounds. A $10 donation per car is requested.
